I asked my friend a GP about it but he had never heard of it being more an old fashioned aneasthetise and stitch man. All veryb interesting a we hope never needed. olewill

Most tissue glues need to be stored in fridge and the shelf life is not great its very good for cuts and particularly head lacerations. Steristrips are probably better in a 1st aid kit as they can be stored for years,

Celox is for stopping arterial bleeds.

And for major wounds, very good for soldiers in war zones, no quite sure of its utility on a boat unless you intend to raise the ensign and engage the enemy with cutlass and musket.
