I'm impressed by my first experience of the skin glue.

Is it worth investing in a pot or two for the boats' first aid kits ?

ta.

Most tissue glues need to be stored in fridge and the shelf life is not great its very good for cuts and particularly head lacerations. Steristrips are probably better in a 1st aid kit as they can be stored for years,

Yes probably worth investing for FA Kit.
This product http://evaq8.co.uk/Celox-Haemostatic-Granules-35g-To-Stop-Lethal-Bleeding-Fast.html was mentioned on this foruma while back. seems it is used for really serious cuts. I asked my friend a GP about it but he had never heard of it being more an old fashioned aneasthetise and stitch man. All veryb interesting a we hope never needed. olewill

My son heard of it when he did his FPOS training, excellent stuff apparently. I've bought some in 2g sachets, which is probably more useful; they contain a lot more bulk than I expected http://amzn.to/SELQoi
