I have a fairly old Isotherm fridge fitted in my boat which has just started to play up. About every minute it emmits a 'peeee' noise, flashes the 'economy' light and doesn't do much else.

Can anyone suggest what might be the problem. Or failing that can anyone recommend someone to take a look at it. I need it to keep the beers cool during our trip to France in a couple of weeks!!

Cheers in advance,
Dave.

Could it be a "battery low" alarm? If so, it should stop when fridge is connected to shore power. If battery is oke, there could be a voltage drop in the connection.
Keep smiling,
Theo

Hi,

If it's the low battery alarm then it's faulty. I tested the voltage at the terminals (on the control unit), and it was above 12v.

I can't find anything in the instructions about there being an aubiable alarm!

Cheers,
Dave.
