Is this Propeller Servicable?

However, requires a minimum of 20hp to make it work, and the OP only has 9hp from his engine. Nothing wrong with that 2 blade fixed prop for under £300! If he wants drag reduction under sail then a basic 2 blade folder would be the logical choice.

I'm told that a Darglow Featherstream also goes down to 1GM10 territory. It's the only non-fixed type which will fit my boat, so I'm saving up. OP clearly doesn't have the same space restrictions though.

Yes. I had one on my 1GM and it does the job. Retained it when I changed to the new Nanni. You really need the 3:1 reduction so you can use the 15" version, but then you might get into difficulties with clearance in the aperture. Talk to Chris at Darglow to get good advice.

No, what you are looking at in the photo is the nut. The zinc anode (as per the link) fits over the top of the cone on the nut and is held on with an Allen bolt into the end of the nut.

Yes, you are right. Looked at it too quickly. Perhaps the lack of the nut anode is the reason for the dezincification.
