To waterski of the back of a boat like mine?
I see that Matt managed to get people sking behind the Leopard, but he probably has more acceleration.
Do you think my 6 second turbo lag would be a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem for an experienced skier, I waterski raced offshore for many years, we set the boats up for top speed, not to concerned about pullout that was the skiers problem, always looked like an Apollo moon shot on pull up, in your case the trick is to get as much weight up front, ie passengers then full throttle, when on the plane throttle back, I would suggest that you lengthen the ski line so that it is in the flattest part of the wake after the hump in the water, we ran on 200 plus feet of line, the normal standard line is around 75 feet. You can run out the ski line with a float attached pull away then mark the line when in the flat part of the wake.

Agree with Canboria. An exp skier will have no prob on two skis. They can either sit it out till speed picks up, or stand up early when the skis are barely planing. However, deep water mono starts are tricky unless the boat accelerates fast. It feels like your arms are being pulled till they're gonna pop out at the shoulders, until you get up to speed. I couldn't hang on for 6 seconds (though I am a lazy unfit fat git).

If your boat produces massive smoke clouds that might upset the skier a bit too

Ok if you want try a mono ski try the following, extend the V in the ski line, (the bit of rope from the handles to the line) so that you can comfortable put the tip of the ski in the V, this will help the ski track in a straight line while you are being pulled up.

I was going to put a nice Picture of my wash heaping up into a Tsunami after a tight high speed 360 turn around the winner buoy!!! How do you think that would go down over there?

Definately yes.
Weve done it with my Sealine S37. Just crank the throttles right down and the skiier comes up really quickly even with 3 on board. Ropes attached to the cleats at the back. Check your insurance though because you are probably not covered while towing a skiier (how do you spell skiier??)
