We've got Byron posting crossword clues and a thread on famous people who might have been near a boat once made over 100 replies.

Is everyone else suffering from the flu too or is it all getting a bit, yawn, oh I don't know if I can be bothered to finish this post, but then again,...........

Re: Never grateful real boat ers do it all year

What do ya mean no one cruising HA HA
Where've you been then
I Have had a great time out there on my own ,most of you lot love giving tons of cash to a yard so they can take it out and deprive you of your boat.

Even when I had a boat on the Thames at Tom Jones old yard I had my boat in,so I could use it . A bit of current wont hurt your boat.
No the reason this has got so so is because most of it is recycled from a month before or the month before that !!!.
Oh hang on a Sparrow has just flown by !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HA
I might have a sniff at a 60 ft tug ooooooohhhhhhhhh toes crossed so then I can bore you all with that !!
Collins right it is getting so so .

I do it all year so there. Just because my recent trip to Guernsey did'nt turn up any disasters thats not
my fault. Perhaps we'll try not to pck good weather next time, spice it up a bit.

How about a hurricane tale or two. Mine...Hurricane Lenny, November 1999...six days of force 7 and up, before we were literally blown into St. Georges, Bermuda...for repairs...before making for Tortola, BVI. Very nasty, lots of $$$ for repairs (and just staying in Bmd), some crew abandons voyage and it gets worse, before it gets better! Ain't sailing great? Cheers, Richard

whaddya mean, hairyplane?

Wot, you FLYING there then?

But you posted a while ago about best routes to Portugal and stuff so assumed you were taking your boat Meet a Fairy and going the proper way. Now we learn you're flying. Is it your new found wealth what with all these cheques flying in that you''re gonna fly there and buy a big Squaddie with the proceeds?

And I was really looking forward to hearing you recount the tale of the journey when (or should that be if) you returned. So why you wimped out then? Go on you can tell me, no-one's listening.

Typical - production delays??

Saturday? You said flags were coming Friday.

So what's going on, manufacturers overwhelmed with orders and we've gone to back of queue behind M&S? Or has the factory gone on strike, or does he want payment up front or what?

So why slipped from Friday to Saturday? Mind you I reckon you're doing a runner with all the dosh and this is the last we'll see of you. If so, best £12 I ever spent.
