Hi,
I've just been out on the River Wyre with my daughter in our Hunter Europa. We manage to get out 1 1/2 hours either side of high water, we've got a drying mooring. It's been blowing Force 5/6 according to the forecast, we had two reefs in the main and the foresail well furled, we still dipped the toe rail in the water and got plenty of green stuff in the cockpit!
We go sailing on a very tight budget, I payed £2000 for our Hunter. If I never go sailing again after today I would say it was money well spent we haven't stopped smiling yet and can't wait to get out again.
Cheers, Ian. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
