Very nearly, yes. I'd like to see a few more flappy pennants and burgees, a LOT more deck clutter, a crappy wind generator would help AND some more evidence of wood, somewhere. The threatening loon on the foredeck in a boilersuit is quite good, but he should be doing something a bit dangerous rather than just posing.
the foredeck loon may not be a loon but a jessie .. he did at one time claim to be attractive to v. young women and this might be an example ... could be complete bolx but i'd be prepared to write an iou to fleetwood rnli on the strength of it ..
I'm afraid you lose that bet, as the loon would protest that the present tense is used with regard to his er attractiveness. Obviously, since the alternative seems to be a sheep (and we're talking layabout scottish sheep not the sheep who have decided to make something of themselves and move south to become politicians) then attracting you women isn't too hard round there. I spect the boat and especially the bolier suit are employed to keep them all away.
.. not many know of this (although you clearly do) but in certain parts of the highlands sheep farmers in order to transport their flocks from one side of the glen to the other, and being unwilling to pay caledonian macbrayne or, sometimes, because calmac do not run a convenient service have their flock swim across stretches of water. the picture we have before us of the boiler suited person is of the shepherd encouraging the flock during their watery sojourn. The scottish sheep dogs, not surprisingly, have more intelligence than the sheep and have refused, ever, to join the sheep. thus the photographer is actually the owner of the boat who is shouting "woof, woof" from a small dinghy ....
not having been present on this occasion i can only assume that the photograper/owner is in a dinghy. however, its quite possible that he has found the best way to encourage his sheep through the water is to swim at the head of the flock and encourage the flock by shouting "woof, woof". meanwhile, the sheepdog is rowing the dinghy after his master and, generally, contributing in some way. the boilersuit is unhappy with progress and the wellies are entirely coincidental at this stage ...
is the boiler suited loon on the foredeck and she'll be delighted by the description. Its almost worth me ruining my visit to the LBS by bringing her along, letting her have free rein in the Jamesons emporium then bringing her to meet up with TCM and the rest of ye idle lickspittles
In terms of Claymore being a classic its surely a question that needs no asking - of course she is.
Well - I've seen loads of people in the deep brown and smelly but never this deep, never this brown and never this smelly
She looked at me last night with the baleful eye (the one in the middle) and said - "This TCM....bring me his body" - never seen her looking so deadly since the bin man stepped on her wallflowers.
