Given the ever-changing weather that we have witnessed over the last few months, I don’t think I’d believe anyone offering a forecast covering the next 4-8 weeks.

Most people use published historical / statistical info and leave their chosen port with a decent 5-day forecast.

That's my plan. Historical weather data seem less and less relevant, around Europe at least.

Guess you will be coming down the Irish Sea? Last time I did that trip, I followed along the s coast of Ireland and when Finnisterre was more or less due south, went for it. Only about five hundred miles so Mebbe bit under five days to the best tapas bars in Bayonna!

If you have time to wait somewhere like Cameret, you only need a 3-day window of course.

Or even just a bit further south like Benodet or even Loctudy.
That way, you don't have to time your departure to catch the tide to clear the Raz du Sein.
