What marina are you going to on the Hamble?

We are heading over to mercury yacht harbour. very excited to get boating down there.

Yes, that’s us. We are now down in Suffolk - took a temporary mooring at the end of our summer cruise and it has turned into a permanent base. When we bought Crazy Diamond we spent a couple of months at Universal Marina on the Hamble and thoroughly enjoyed it - a busy river so plenty going on and easy access to the Solent.

We considered Universal but decided on mercury yacht harbour. Looks us up if you find yourself on the South Coast again...

That's where we are based. We love it. Probably the most tranquil marina on the Hamble. Good choice.

Leaving Portishead and taking a mooring in Cardiff Bay, bit sad to be leaving after such a long time but looking forward to a change of scenery and being 1/2 way to Swansea (well a 1/3) before we leave!

Watchet just “across the road” is a great little place to visit.

A bit further away from Sharpness and the River Severn is the only downside, but looking forward to some new adventures!
