Is anyone moving berths

Does this count ?
Just moved from the outer Gulag of the club moorings ( 15 Mins walk) to one nearer the clubhouse and bar. (5 mins) .
Has only taken 6 years and considerable sucking up to the mooring master.

Not now I've tied up the mooring rope that came undone during the gales (1 of 4 so it was OK).
The Motorboat will move soon, 2 feet side ways, as I can get the soon to be launched sailing boat in on the same mooring..

At least its blue outside of the harbour (sometimes)! Have you seen an aerial picture of the solent?

Sure is and now mainly free of cruise liners! The Solent was my cruising ground for many years and I certainly wouldn't want to go back.

BTW, your new berth looks to be empty!

Thanks, they did let me know. I'm just getting a few jobs done at this end first whilst its closer to home and people that I know (like divers - any local recommendations for hull scrubbing welcome). Aim to be down mid/late this month when there's a weather window that works with my diary.

The Norfolk Broads to The Hamble, moving in x2 week very excited for the trip down.....

Think we moored on KQ a bit further in than you - Hardy 36 that went on holiday last summer and never came back! You will love the Hamble - we spent a couple of months there last year and really enjoyed it.

Yes, that’s us. We are now down in Suffolk - took a temporary mooring at the end of our summer cruise and it has turned into a permanent base. When we bought Crazy Diamond we spent a couple of months at Universal Marina on the Hamble and thoroughly enjoyed it - a busy river so plenty going on and easy access to the Solent.
