Quite a few posts here have become a bit general about the pros and cons of bowthrusters. My own post above was in answer to your query about your own specific situation where it is my understanding that you have a 28 foot boat with 2x 170 hp engines (I think, according to Google). I don't know if I'm one of those accused of being macho or knowitall, that certainly wasn't my intention as I'm neither of those things, I was just trying to be helpful by passing on stuff that I've learned the hard way. If I have offended you in any way, please accept my apologies.
