For two years the weather here has not stopped raining. Is the weather in Britain just as crazy?

Our climate is evolving. Although global and regional temperatures generally have a long-term upwards trend, the presence of natural variability means that each year, or decade, is not necessarily warmer than the last. Communication of the impact of natural fluctuations is vital for decision makers and for a sceptical public. Progress in understanding and predicting the natural fluctuations in climate offers the potential to test and improve climate models, narrow the uncertainty in climate predictions and aid adaptation to our evolving climate. Meeting these substantial scientific challenges requires continued investment in global observations, more advanced climate models and better ways of testing climate models against observations.
The author welcomes any feedback on this article and communicating climate variability and climate uncertainty in general.
It certainly is. As always had been. Can't understand how you can cope...For two years the weather here has not stopped raining. Is the weather in Britain just as crazy?
Thats nothing, it rained for my entire childhood. I still have the rings round my legs where my wellington boots came up to when I wore shorts. For two years the weather here has not stopped raining. Is the weather in Britain just as crazy?

Variety of British weather...Heard someone on the radio a few years ago quoting the mayor of Tromso. He loves British weather because of the variety. In his country they have 6 months icy darkness and six months midge ridden daylight. And we haven't quite had a communist government yet here.......
You're in Britain / the British Isles but yes, the weather in the UK has been carp for several years now and the rain in the last 12 months has been unbelieveable. But then I suppose thats why the Emerald Isle is emerald.
Unfortunately, just as Irish weather washes over us, so does the Irish Banking crisis as well as the UK one. It's a sort of mushroom existence here - you know, kept in the dark and with sh*t dumped on use from outside. And I dont think either of us wants to mention the rugby results.
Sadly we are both in the geographic area known as the british isles ( small b - nothing to do with Great Britain really) irritating though it might be to some. No amount of official revisionism will change it, and more that we can change being in Europe whatever UKIP wants
