Just got an IRC certificate and I was surprised by the DLR number.
What is more surprising is that it is a one design certificate, taken from their own database.

The boat is a Hunter F1 and the relevant figures are:

HULL
LH: 6.71
LWP: 5.75
Hull Beam: 2.38
Boat Weight: 920
DLR: 196
Draft: 1.44
Bulb weight: N/A

By my own estimation, and that of every other DLR calculator I can find, the DLR number should be about 135.

Is my certificate wrong or am I missing something?

Is the 'D' loaded displacement with a full rail of porkers?

Aha, the crew weight is 435 which does indeed give a DLR of 196.
I expected to be in the sports boat classes which usually says a DLR of < 160 so I guess I'm in with the plodders.
