Good point about the battery. It would be a bit stressful if the battery became exhausted halfway across the Solent.

If I left my shiny SS props on while on the hard I'd come back to a boat on the hard with no props on. Such is the world we live in unfortunately. As it stands I had to replace a leg gear linkage cover once. You'd think somebody who could afford a boat wouldn't need to pilfer but..... ?

Perhaps you could find a really cheap leg gear linkage cover at a boat jumble
