iPhone and apps

Htc Desire and iPhone are virtually identical. Both great smart phones but useless for rugged use such as boating.

Depends on the boating in question. We get on well with our HTC Desire which usually lives at the chart table and is recharged there each night.

iPhone / iPad app

Hi guys new user but saw this post and read with interest I use my iPad on the boat because I love the large screen and I can use it for music as well, i also love looking for the next boat I found an app called boat details on the app store which has a lot of makes of boats on, and there are images and specs, useful for looking up info, worth a look.

Note for IPC

Now here's an idea - for those who run these forums.

I run a small forum that keeps the berth holders in our marina together.
Saves having to have a berth holders association.

I've just gone through a complete revamp of the site and I am about to add this little feature to my forum http://tapatalk.com/

It's an add on for forum the main software and "apps" that you can run on your iPhone or Blackberry and they also have apps for Android phones as well.

So, you can browse and reply to this forum without squinting!!

OK then so - I P C - why not integrate it into YBW?

It's a doddle to get it working - I had it up and running in just a few hours.

I downloaded the Tapatalk to my Nokia yesterday and I just wanted to add my support to Hurricanes request. It would be absolutely fabulous if IPC could deploy Tapatalk for this forum!!!

It was so easy that I've put Tapatalk live on our forum now.

Works well on the iPod Touch as well
