Agree many but not all of the ads are aimed at local sailors but the articles are fresh and cover a wide range of worldwide cruising interests. Anyway it's 144 pages, most of which are of some interest, so well worth a read and of course
it's free and no doubt with a huge circulation all paid for by ads. Wonder when IPC boating mags will go this way?
Different business models and not as bigger circulation as you would think. They have similar publications on the East Coast (spin sheet / prop walk or talk.) both publishers I know.
When I get back from Dusseldorf I will try and explain a bit more on the free aspect (or lack of it) on our titles now. As always it's far more complicated than you might think !
