iPad Help.

I bought a used iPad on eBay. I've just noticed 2 things:

1. There's no ampersand key (@).
2. On my iPad at least, there's no pound sign (£) but there is a dollar sign ($).

Is there some combination of keystrokes I can use to type an @ and a £ and also a € too!

Try settings and change the language to English UK. On mine, the ampersand and sterling keys are on the numerals keyboard, and the euro on the punctuation Mark keyboard. Both accessed from the bottom left hand corner of the letter and numeral keypads respectively.

Sorry to be pedantic but

& is an "ampersand"

@ is an "at"

Going to be difficult to send an email without and @ sign.

Try http://www.labnol.org/software/keyboard-typing-shortcuts-for-iphone-ipad/13564/ (after you've set the language and keyboard up in the System Preferences). Note that you have to switch the keyboard by pressing the '123' key, lower left.
It works on the iPod Touch when using the Mail app, but for some reason the Safari keyboard doesn't have the £ or the €.
