There's a weather phenomenon this weekend in North Wales, 3 days of sunshine, light winds and warm temps.
As frequent as falling poo affecting visibility! ?
I came across an interesting thing. Went to the rib yesterday on the IOW to pump out the water from the torrential rain the night before. It was quite full. I have a simple bilge at the rear operated by a switch and a pipe going over the transom and secured to the towing eye. The bottom of this pipe is under normal conditions above the water. As the boat was quite full it was now just below the water. I jumped on and switched on the bilge when I switched it off I found I had filled the pipe and set up a perfect prime and wonderful syphon and the boat started to fill very quickly. Something I never thought about when I installed the bilge with the boat on the trailer.
simple solution Just poke a small hole in the pipe near the top.
