I have a Mastervolt inverter wot says 24V / 230V 50 Hz (250W - 500W) on the front. Does than mean 250 W rated power but 500W starting load, or does it mean it runs properly with a load of between 250 and 500W? I need to be absolutely sure its not big enough to power the TV before Big Brother starts.

I regret to say that even 250 w will power most TVs, unless you have a 5ft plasma induction, tetra-fluoroscopic, self-levelling, dynamic loop linked, run flat, microchimp- controlled screen nailed to the deckhead in the saloon.

You could play safe and remove the fuse, that way you can be sure you won't see Big Brother!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
