No direct experience but I find this is usually fairly good indication: View mobile availability - Ofcom Checker
It depends on provider but so long as not three or one of their dependents you will get probably some data. But that doesn’t necessarily mean streaming video speed - enough to send an email, get a weather forecast etc. one thing I’ve found is RYA safetrx isn’t particularly data efficient so have found myself with poor signal but unable to login to end a trip!

It may depend on the specific anchorage chosen within Loch Eriboll?
Unfortunately can’t advise as we tend to go to Kyle of Tongue instead, as closer to Orkney and easier to get there in a single tide.
