Internet Dongle-WIND

Hi folks, we have just had a wind dongle installed on this lap-top and it is great. pay as you go all GREECE and where ever we are it works. it is also simple to use. The WIND shop people installed it and took the time to go over it with me until I was fully competent. ( thats because I am an OLD ludditr)

Hope this is of help to others Oh it will cost €30 a month for 4gb

We pay 24Euros for 30gb a month also with Wind, it's on a annual contract that you pay monthly ie if you don't need it anymore you stop paying. That also gives you a mifi router for up to 5 laptops on board.

We also have an annual Wind contract, €25 for 30Gb. It was great when we were in Crete and when we get 3G it's very fast. BUT we've just travelled through the Dodecanese and Eastern Sporades and have usually only managed to get a 2G connection, too slow for skype or photo uploads and sketchy for grib files. The Cosmote coverage was much better last year, if a lot more expensive!

Cosmote has better coverage, but Wind has better performance - if you can get it.

We have both, and use Wind where it works. It's also cheaper.

When we in Greece we use Cosmote 40 a month and 5GB , we never had a problem with coverage both side of Greece .
In Italy we use TIm 25 month 5GB .

No point trying to save a few Euro and having some thing that only works well in some places , that's me view .
