Carry on at this rate...

...and you'll achieve the ultimate objective of having me kick off with a bunch of four letter words.

I canned three posts only...except they were four because even as I canned them I see that TCM made another post and that got sucked in to the cut.

The posts I canned were:

depsol accusing brendans about not being even-handed in his criticisms
brendans replying back he wasn't going to get involved
wakeup saying same bullshit all over again

The rest of it is all still there people:
http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/717363/

The last time brendans and depsol kicked off about this issue it got so silly I had to can the whole thread...this time I nipped it in the bud and you still have your thread.

I'm not even going to muck about checking just how few posts have been moved from here in the past 12 months but it is very few, period, and all for very legitimate reasons.

In answer to one of the posts here yes we can cut parts of threads and do that whenever possible if it proves necessary to take action at all...the only thing we cannot do is preserve posts that fall on a branch below a post that gets chopped (thinking in threaded speak).

ooer four letter words - sort yerself out!

er, praps it mite be an idea if you worked in a real puter company, and/or on a real BB for a while, hm? It ain't normal that journos mod a forum. And it's a huge expense when really you need a junior, and that's it. I mean, it's not as tho you are great puter whizz, or programming - this is largely std software innit.

Sepretly, and poster-wise, some harmles yet overprotective loon with a 14yearold daughter crashes into the forum and fling a few pm's around and we're all bowing and scraping! Now, some snakeoil gets a mention and ooer ooer from you! Stuffem - they sell loads more cos of the mentionas than they lose from the sniping.

4-letter word wise - it ain't a threat is it - cos it's YOU that stops any cursing innit? Started off at "bloody" being blanked as i remeber and a full weekend it took to persuade you and your lot that it was really ok! Another day for scunthorpe to be permitted.

Managinwise - name a new, decent boat-aware mid-range-posting poster that's arrived since you turned up, hm? There ain't many if any. But Byron, TK, Colholic and loads more have gone as a direct result of you mismanaging these forums, eg feebly letting h1 bang on and on "cos he hadn't broken the rules" and loads more. And pls don't give me the twaddle about respect for runing them in the first place - it's ybw doing it for profit and you get paid (i hope) several times the going rate. And yet it could be done a whole load better. Poor show.

Nope

erm, no. The hopeless Karl (whom i memorably e-sacked) was on duty.

Mite have been your dept, but you hadn't learnt how to use a mouse or summink, and anyway, you weren't around on a daily basis. Can't do the search anyway canya, since yer trashed all the data with no backups! Jeez, good dta manager eh?

Now, we have the ridiculous situation that the system is MUCH WORSE than it was two years ago when you coudl sweep search for things in the last few years - you successfully harnessed the powerr of ever-increasing computer power to make it such that no such search is possible - it can only search a year at a time! So instead of improving things, yerv just hobbled them . It's like fixing engines - by welding the enginerrom shut and fitting some oars.

Most of the 12,000 are a bit transient too...and unlikely to have decent thread hereabouts since you flippin nip in stop things at the third exchange! Flippinek. And now (we, not you) having put a bit of effort into sbut so it was fun, well we can't have that oh no.

Data not trashed...

...and full searches will be opened up again either off this system or via an archive.

Interesting to see you lay a claim to 'e-sacking' Karl - I didn't know you had so much influence here. Silly me /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Anyhow thanks for the light diversion this afternoon; that manual about how to use a mouse was getting tedious to read (what is a 'right button' anyway?).

influence

well iot was a big deal at the time, so you weren't around eh? Anyway, i toldim to get his cv together and seems he did so and shortly thereafter, he cleared off.

It is the mark of drones to sneeringly compare how much (or little) influence others have, fiercely protecting their own little empire, and changing it about a bit on a whim every so often essentially to confirm to themselves and their underlings that they're in charge. Ring any bells, hm?

Yes, bells are jangling...

...it just so happens I've been reading the IPC manual on 'How to be a drone and deal with your insecurities" in between the Ladybird book of mouse control. How DID you know that? Chapter 13 on the big sneer technique good fun (that's in the drone manual by the way, not the mouse one) -- must go and find a mirror to see if it's working.

Next up is the well-thumbed copy of 'How not to rise to the bait when someone is placing bets he will get banned by means of wit, fair and foul'. Not sure I'll be able to take it all in, being an empire building drone of inferior intellect (yes I checked with the staff here and they confirm it's all true) but at least I'll flick through to see if there are any pretty pictures of real BBs or proper computer companies to paw with drooling envy.

Re: drone id

OK! You'll be able to recognise the true drone by their invariable use of a long job title which they quote against almost every single occurence of their name appearing in print. Avoid working for such people at all costs - when you're through the ladybird books you can progress to The Peter Principle, which explains how these types have almost no influence at all.

Bit confused now

Never been able to get my head around my job title, let alone spell it, so I fail one of your tests of the true drone, which is a bit disappointing. However I do talk to myself a lot here, or at least it feels that way. Tell me doctor, should I be assuming from that the my sphere of influence is somewhat smaller than the space my rather short and rotund figure occupies?

STILL AT IT ARE YOU OLD FART,

Taffotouriste

that's the stuff!

Unfortunately, it's the internet, see, so not much point in direct abuse - it has no force at all. The best anyone can do is use sharp wit or in your case, warped sh1t. See? Some cab;t hack this and are only going to get hurt! Anyway, kind regards from all to the kids, and EXCELLENT to see you are reading every single line of every post!

Why not post summink about the boat? MUCH more interesting. No?

Re: Wouldn\'t work I\'m afraid

Err but you are happy though top libel me by saying my posts are bu l l sheet, please let me know the address of your legal dept as you clearly are happy for this to be a one way street, I can file my libel claim with them directly, don't bother to can this post as I have an image of it....

Re: Carry on at this rate...

"The posts I canned were:

depsol accusing brendans about not being even-handed in his criticisms

wakeup saying same bullshit all over again "

Let's just define this bullshit, "repeatedly asking one of your regular posters who slyly sells his product to your forum members to justify his claims for the product repeadetely over probaly a 2 year period and never once reciving any tangible evidence that his product works" the only reason you are now jumping on myself and Brendan over this is becasue the said gent above is now advertising with you.

Please retract your "Bullshit" statement immediatedly, publicy and in writing on this forum? If you have the balls?? I have the balls to hand this to my retained lawyer to deal with.

Re: Carry on at this rate...

I see you're in Afghanistan so excuse your heat-stroked response. Please try to find a wee bit of shade soonest. No doubt your retained lawyer will be feeling a bit swetty too.

Have you ever been afloat?
