Has anyone tried to interface a Yeoman Plotter to a Magellan Sportrak GPS. Having followed the diagrams in both manuals, I have produced a cable to connect the two. The GPS is sending the position to the Yeoman alright, but the waypoints and current steer are not appearing on the GPS like the man in the shop said would happen.
The connections appear simple.
GPS Yeoman Power supply
Pin 2 (Data OUT) White (Data IN)
Pin 3 (Data IN) Green (Data IN A)
Blue (DATA IN B) 0v
Pin 5 (Gnd) Thin Black (Gnd) 0v
Red 12v
(Done from memory, I am in the office and the kit is at home)
But no waypoints or steers. The GPS has three NMEA settings, the only one that works is '2.1'
Any ideas, anyone?
