It's amazing what people choose to do, voluntarily and with his 15 year old son. Not being judgemental, it's a good story that another poster would find interesting.

I have that story in a book which includes many similar Atlantic crossings in unlikely vessels, including a marinised Jeep type road vehicle !

Yes W, The book is buried upstairs somewhere, but I believe that was his name. An Aussie or Kiwi I think, did a world circumnavigation eventually in the 1950's ? My book just covered the Trans Atlantic voyage. A gold plated Nutter...
