Insuring Single Handed Cruising

For a price ...

I have a much, much bigger cruising area, no 12 mile limit 'unless on passage' and the policy includes outboard and dinghy all for not a lot more than my last insurers. When specifically asked about single handed sailing, that is all included in the price. They have been a joy to work with.

For the cover mentioned, Pants seem to be operating on 1.5% of the insured value, or at least that is what I pay.

Racing, single-handed, dinghy, outboard, new-for-old, no calendar or mooring restrictions, no re-survey since 2005 and people who are easy to talk to and know what sailing is about. There are cheaper options than Pantaenius but I haven't found one yet that offers the same level of cover, in fact most decline to quote when I list my needs.
