Its that time of year again and much to my shock its gone up because ive moved marinas.

Its seems that St margarets have a tie in with MDL and did last year not known to me gave a 10% discount for berth holders, im no longer at the dirty industrial area of the Itchen, however upon telling them id moved they slapped 10% on top of my renewal quote, and after much explaining that where I am now in my opinion its a much safer, quieter, less traffic etc etc, they still didnt want to know, so they didnt get my money.

A quick call to GJW solved the problem, with a reduced excess too and a saving of nearly £100 on the revised quote from St Margarets.

I wonder what back handers they have with MDL to support the discount?.

Hope you are well.

Now I stand to be corrected but I thought GJW had a discount thing going with MDL, that was why I moved to them a few years ago, however when shopping around for my S28 insurance found that Bishop & Skinner were cheaper. I was with them before I moved to GJW.
