A lot depends on where you moor it ,I am finding that unless its kept in a marina they dont want to know.

Mmmmm. Try getting a quote from Craft Insure and you will see that they will not let you input a build date older than 1980.

Interesting. Must be different for yachts. I tried to get a quote for a 1975 mobo and it was not possible.

I insure both boats with Trafford's but the old boat (51 this year) is only third party: not worth the additional costs for fully comprehensive as she’s only worth perhaps a few hundred pounds.
