My Prelude 19 is now over 40 and despite being in good nick I can't find any insurance companies who will provide full cover, only 3rd party.
Has anyone else found a company who will insure an older fibreglass boat?

All suggestions welcome.

A lot depends on where you moor it ,I am finding that unless its kept in a marina they dont want to know.

I've never had a problem - Pantaenius at the moment but others before that have been fine with it to,

Yachtline covered my 45 year old snappy and currently cover my 40 year old Mirage. Do have to send photos occasionally though.

I use Bishop Skinner for my 42yr old Moody - had to have a condition survey a yr ago which did pick up a couple of points(worn steering cables and loose tabbing in forepeak as the pertinent points) Also new standing rigging 2yrs ago which did pick up some potential failure issues. On a swinging mooring, only proviso is ashore from Nov. to March.
