<font color=blue>Bit of an open question really but I wonder what people are paying for their vessel's insurance. I have just forked out £506.90p (after all discounts) for my boat. I put a value on it of £122,500.00p and £3,000,000 3rd party liability, boat in commission year round and Brest - Elbe limits.
How does that compare to other people's costs?

I still think GJW are the cheapest and are particularly helpful if u need to claim i.e. 1 new engine in October no fuss whatsoever. Paying £525.00 for boat valued @ £130000 incl dingy outboard etc. What about my lobster Byron?

mine was £640 for 95k boat, 2mil third party, 12 month in commission - Brest to Elbe. On my prososal they wanted to know years no claims, which for me with this company is 3 years but previously for a much smaller boat. Does marine insurance have the same discount structure as motor insurance for no claims / experience ??
