I have an instrument pod (Navpod GP1400) into which I once inserted 3 standard sized instruments.
I now want to add a fourth.
Is there an easy way to do this rather than buy a whole new pod?
I don't see that anyone sells just the front covers for these, or that might be a way.
It might be possible to make a flat plate to fit the existing back, and fit the 4 instruments into that, but there might not be enough space front to back?

Any brilliant suggestions? (or even not so brilliant?)

You could get a piece of white rigid plastic cut to glue on the flat area of the front face, and fit the instruments on that. With carefully bevelled edges, it should look fine.

I did similar but used a nice piece of timber instead of white plastic.

Good ideas here, thanks. Meantime though, I found a place selling new ones at huge discount so bought a new old stock one. Might do something with old one and sell it off.

Sometimes you can be lucky.

But you could very easily make up a fiberglass one anyway using the old one as a mold.
