I have been looking for offshore communication equipment and had pretty much decided on a Yellowbrick unit http://www.yellowbrick-tracking.com/. I have just heard that the In reach unit http://inreachdelorme.com/ is now available in the UK.
Does anyone have any experience of either of the units?

In the Bristol Channel semaphore flags would probably do.

I'm not sure many people on either side of the channel would be able to understand semaphore. The equipment above is for an Atlantic crossing.
