Passing moorings or folks reefing/putting away sails slow down there is a safety aspect that most responsible MOBO owners get; unfortunately a small minority don't.

Sad to say, I think the bounciest moorings on the East Coast are in West Mersea, mostly caused by sailors using ribs. You need to keep your ears open when cooking dinner or making a brew around there.
