I did live in Canada years back and did fall in love in the c&c sailboat line. Now I have the oportunity to buy one in Rhode Island and have it transported by ship to Cherbourg in France.
My intention is to sail it from Cherbourg and home to Denmark. I know that I have to pay tax. But do I have to CE-certificate it in France too? Or can I sail it back to Denmark and do it there?
Has anyone here ever tried to import a boat via France so they can inform me about how to handle this.
