I'm now a hooligan

There was a (young :o) lady from Man
who Dan never quite managed to ban.
Her posts on the forum
showed a lack of decorum,
but she carried them off with élan.

I was complimenting Nicks on his choice of RIB.

Limericks have never offended me.

There was a lady from Man.....

It's this flippin forum - I can never tell who's saying what to whom. Or, indeed, who is coming and who is going.

A Manx footballer of repute
Was regarded by women as cute
But he lost their esteem
With his leisurely stream
'Cos he dribbled before he could shoot.

Eat yer heart out, Carol-Anne Duffy

Ah that explains why you haven't visited us this year - you intended to, but instead of coming you went.

Iv'e been over to the IOM, mind you, just to confuse things, I was hiding on another boat

like a thumping good bonk,
but he'd drunk too much plonk,
so he tried, but it wasn't ideal.

You rude girl.

Sis says "Hello".

Having to work at her gaff as my internet has gone down and BT have realised they really don't give a f**k.

Hello Major C's Sis, sorry for being rude over your intenet. Tell him to bring you over to see us soon - I can guarantee lovely weather .

Before going out, just make sure that you are equipped with the following:

- Ghetto Blaster with bass boost, to serenade your fellow boaters
- Several rolls of fat at neck level
- Number One crop
- Tattos (various)
- Wetsuit, rolled down to waist level, accompanied by
- Man boobs

Just before you set off, neck a couple of largactyl and a bottle of Buckfast Wine and you'll be hot to trot.

I didn't know you visited Conwy James! Any ammount of similarly equippped boats there!

Obviously different when I'm driving the RIB of course! :D

i had a 5m humber with a pair of 40's on, great fun in big swells. now upgraded to this -

I know that river very well indeed, the two bridges in the background, the one on the right was where I'd collect peeler crabs under the brick rubble at low water, that was 53 years ago! if the picture was wider there is the wreck of an old wooden barge sat in the mud on the right it was wrecked before I was born and I bet it's still there. Under the main bridge and round the bend on the right is Bitterne Manor, a small public wooded area next to a Manor House converted to flats, thats where I kept my first boat.

God, it brings memories flooding back.

Thanks for that Nick, Oh nearly forgot with all the nostalgia, nice rib.

If both of you sit back to back, then the one nearest the front is in front of the one nearest the back; unless you are going backwards, in which case the one nearest the back is in front of the one nearest the front, and unless you are going sideways, in which case neither of you is behind the other and you are both equally in front or behind, depending on your point of view. If you are stationary then the whole concept of in front or behind is rendered meaningless.

Obviously.

Sorry, bit late with this as we've been away on the boat since Friday, nicely put Mrs Seagoon, with that particular brand of incomprehensibility which is the distinguishing feature of the thinking processes of the fairer sex and which defies all more logical male understanding.

Before I run and cower under the stairs.................

.......... a digression and thread drift, what's up with your weather? For 3 years running we've visited the land of mists and mountains hoping whilst caravanning to do a spot of fishing out of Barmouth and for 3 years running have been greeted with gales and rain lasting the entire holiday. Is that anyway to greet cash spending visitors - I ask you? Next year we're going to Essex, or somewhere else anyway, that'll teach you!

Oh, and nice to see you posting again, Major, I missed you.
