I\'m back and need help with this site!

I've just returned from me hols and logged on because I miss you b****rs but unless I get some serious help on setting up this site I won't be able to use it simply because I can't see any posts.
Some posts are black writting on a white b/ground but the majority are dark blue on a blue b/ground, some start in white and then go to blue so that I can't read them?
As for all the icons, I'll get to grips with that later all I want to be able to do is read everyones posts and make the occassional reply. I don't want to post piccies, links or change font colours, I have no idea about "code" or what UBB is! I hope that I won't need to learn to carry on using this site?
I have tried various "skins" but this makes no difference to what I can read.
BTW has the last post to the top be answered been disabled as I seem to have them popping up all over the place?

Any help would be welcome as I would genuinely like to stay here and annoy you all at sometime<s>

The site was somewhat modifiied/upgraded? Not sure how I managed to log on with clear script! maybe Kim is the gal to help you.

Or maybe its just a case of searching on google for this site.... log on and saving the new settings to your favourites!

Try the Frequently Asked Questions board for a bit of help. Failing that, try posting any questions or comments in the feedback board

You forgot to tell him you waited till he went on hols before "upgrading" the site.... but the bugger has found us again.. oh well, just have to welcome him back...

Looks like I must have done something right for a change. Came back from hols' and apart from it looking a bit different everything works fine.
(Must be a message there for all the confuser experts who are having trouble).

Okay, just for you...

You have some knackered old stylesheets saved in your browser somewhere.

So:

you need to dump your browser cache/temporary files and then immediately restart the browser.

That should do it, it really should...

Oh yes, and when you say you've tried skins have you tried the latest batch this side of Christmas - because we have been modding them a bit.

If all of this still doesn't work please PM me your operating system and browser details

OK I'll try it but the last time I fiddled with temp files I was unable to get back at all.

Make sure you know your log in details to this and any other sites you visit in case you lose these when you start deleting stuff.

Can you tell me why 1 thread with say 10 posts in has a couple in white a couple in light green and the rest dark green?
