I'll be back soon ...

Now this year and since i sold my lovely, but less suitable for me, Corvette, I have had two false starts - price agreed, contract signed and deposit paid, and fear I am developing something of a reputation for not proceeding to the end.

So this time I am keeping stumb until I have something positive to report.

I will say same theme, not new, but definitely not a basket case.

If it is the one I am thinking of it looks to be an excellent option and if we were in the market you would probably have some competition! Won’t say any more respecting that you are keeping stumb and hope everything works out ?

Thanks Greg - the last clue I will offer to those more discerning amongst you is that she is, apparently, very good in fog !

If anyone thinks they have guessed it then please PM me pending a later announcement.

Be very wary of giving away too much I did that, totally unintentionally by simply asking about a location and was gazumped by a forum Sherlock who jumped in and bought sight unseen at full asking price despite my having assurances from the broker that he would immediately call me if such happened because I would have gone higher if needs must but was in the USA and could not get here for a couple of weeks until money transfer re property sale had occurred, it requiring last minute walk through and both our signatures on handover day. Bitter, you betcha, hard lesson learned.

A friend of mine was on his way to view/buy a boat the other day. He was half way there and was guzumped on the way. The next day said the deal had fallen through so my friend set of and bought it. Priceless
