i have just bought a project yacht called a deb1V has anyone heard of or know anything about marque

If you mean it's a plywood 21' Mk IV Debutante as designed by Robert Tucker in the early 60's then no - but I'm sure a good Googling will turn something up.

Is it 33ft, GRP, with a lifting keel? Sparkman & Stevens Deb 33, Tyler produced bare hulls for home completion in the 1970's.

Lovely boat as with most S&S designs - well regarded in its day.

thanks for the posts. I will post a photo asap for further details. The boat is approx 23ft x 8ft wide with a 4ft draft. It has a fin and skeg hung rudder . Engine was a super shrimp inboard engine (no longer working!) bermuda rigged 18ft mast. grp.
