Saw this yesterday, looked familiar, but can't place it. What was its original purpose?

My guess. Ex pilot boat.
Particularly since the Christmas tree looks like it has three lights on it

The give away for pilot boats is a handrail around the wheelhouse, but no guardrail around the outside of the hull - means there's something to clip a harness to, but nothing to stop the pilot stepping on or off.

They were used by Ministry of Defence Police in the 80's- 90's I believe.
