Hi,
Can anyone identify the make of this waterlock.?
I bought a Vetus, but it doesn't sit well in the only location available.

I may just fabricate my own out of 316L but am unsure how this thing looks inside, maybe a vertical divider plate.?

thanks
Howard

Thanks for the link young man,
I now realise the orientation is wrong in the picture, that's why I couldn't "see inside" .
This will be a doddle to fabricate to fit my space.

Not worth making one yourself, and particularly not using stainless - hot salt water and stainless are not good bed fellows. Lots of choice of different types from either Vetus or Halyard Marine. Have a look in their catalogues.

There is no need for a divider plate as the moulded shape provides this. The wet exhaust enters the boxy end and as th exhust gas sis above the water then the water is depressed to pqss under the lower moulding to the slopy end where the water and exhaust leave. The boxy bit when running is full of gas/air. When theengine stops the waer in the exhaust sytem runs back and hopefully only partially fills the boxy end. If the water trap is too small then the boxy end fills right up and water may enter the engine via exhaust valves. The water trap must sit correctly and not on its end as in your picture.
