Any ideas?

Will be getting a better look on Monday, these pics are the best I could get through the fence before the security guard shifted me! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think this might be a Robert Tucker 30' (may not be this name). It looks like one of his designs (see Silhouette II, Debutante, Ballerina, and Caprice). It's double chined with raked transom and I guess made in ply. All typical of his boats in the 60s / 70s. Also his designs had mainly bilge keels and of course the bit to steer with (spade type rudder)

Hope this helps

Thanks for the help Ken, I see your literary skills are as keen as ever.

"The wise man speaks when he has something to say, the fool when he has to say something".

I sometimes wonder why I expect anything better. Let's hope Matthew99 manages to stay long enough to realise there are some good people here........

Re: The Dogwatch home survey kit

Thanks anyway Ken.
I'm only half-interested as it will be almost given away due to where it has ended up, the trailer might be useful if nothing else.
I'm a long way off going in with my eyes closed...

Thanks for that Dan, I'll ask them.

Re: The Dogwatch home survey kit

A neglected old plywood boat needs a very thorough look at before investing any time or money but she looks as if she would sail well and i allways rated a stern cabin as usefull .

agree that she could be a Robert Tucker design but dont know for certain.

This is a Tucker TL 90 30 footer but looks quite different with a single chine hull and raked back transom.

Re: The Dogwatch home survey kit

The TL90's a very late Tucker design, usual hull lines modified for GRP construction, and not really typical of his ply boats. Agree though that the one at the start of this thread might be Tucker.
