Ideas for securing poles in a lazarette?

I am looking for suggestions and ideas for securing table poles and the poles that support the sunpad in the lazarette or one of the other storage locations on board (wherever I can get them to fit)..

Mainly I don't want them to be bouncing all over the place in there when the sea gets a bit bumpy and smash up everything because they are fairly heavy..

I figure there must be many age old tried and tested solutions to securing things in lockers..

So what do you suggest?

Chuck them some sausage, rye bread and pils. That shoud keep them happy for hours

I store my cockpit tent poles vertically in a drainpipe clamp screwed to the side of the locker.
