Need a new one as old one playing up and seen the new Icom on the net - how much is it and is it any cop please as I missed it at SBS?

Is this the best budget to go for or is the Raymarine good?

Don't like the Silva much nor Navman but not sure why.....

Ok yes do that good idea as it is not really that obvious even with ICOM 431 as the title. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Don't panic i made it!!!
Thank you for the invite Brendon, nice to meet you at SIBS to.
Along with all the others.

Well it is a bit more money than the Raymarine product.
At the boat show the lowest I saw ours for was £239 from Marine Super Store.
Average was about £245.

SRP is £298.

It has now real advantages or disadvantages over all the others at this end of the market.
It does have 3 year warranty and it is built by us.
Not built in some other factory then having an Icom badge put on it!!
It is a waterproof VHF with all the standard features that we fit.
Dual watch, tri watch, scanning etc.
No second station though.

Always worth asking if it really a ........ product or a rebadge!

Hope that helps
If I can be of an further please ask away

Regards

Thanks Jon

I need to check the dimensions of my old Navico 6550 (?) to ensure that the Icom almost fits the hole.

Does it come with flush mount kit?

Flush mount kit is an extra.
MB69 is the one you need.
