Ice maker water supply

After 18months with our t43 we have just bought t52 this comes fitted with an ice maker and I was wondering where does this get its water supply ? I take in not from the tanks ? Or if it does there must be some filter arrangements especially for the water supplies here in Majorca ?

Our Princess one was just connected to the same water supply as the galley - ice maker being next to the galley anyway.
This year, I've fitted one of these to our galley sink:-

It was easy to connect in the ice maker as well.

In the past, I used 2 Jabsco filters - one for the galley sink - one for the ice maker - these:-

Whenever we have taken on water in south Mallorca the quality has always been a bit poor.
So best to get something sorted.
