boat presently near bayonna. thinkinking of making short passage to oporto before returning uk. see that icc is requisate for portugal- do they ask to see it

Never been asked for one or similar and have had boat in Portugal for nearly two years. However, they do ask for just about everything else that you can think of including insurance and VAT papers. I think that they may be more keen for an ICC if you are not an EU citizen.

passed thru 2 port, not asked for quals. You give them a boat reg doc, a passport, other blarney and they write things down on another piece of paper. They do like to know the last port you visited, for their form, you see.

I was never asked for qualifications, only the usual registry and passports.

Sailed the whole coast last year and wintered in Lagos was never asked for anything but reg. docs. the whole time I was there (7 months).
