I don't want to clear my cookies because I think I may lose passwords etc that I have saved. To get around this I've binned my old ID and signed on as a new user. Surely these probs should have been tested and sorted before they were inflicted on us. Stuhaynes

I found that logging in in the small boxes at the top of the page and ticking the stay logged in box did not keep me logged in so making sure I was logged out I tried to reply a thread, I then got a large "log in screen" and logged in there no problems since.

Natalie will put you on the naughty step:

We do not tolerate:

I know, that's why I put my previous login name at the end of this post. If YBW had had the site tested to get rid of the gremlins (before launch) none of this would be necessary. They'll be getting rid of the classic boats forum before we know it! Harumph... Stuhaynes

That method has solved the problem for me. Have been logged in for more than a week now.

Actually as I have done nothing other than being away for a few days-THE SITE OPERATORS HAVE GOT IT SORTED!

This has worked for me (unless it's a coincidence, of course) - thanks, Pete.
