I think I\'m allergic to rafting

Spent a lunchtime at Bucklers Hard yesterday and was directed to a pontoon near the fuel berth. So far so good until a motorboat with what seemed like nice middle age people on board was soon rafted alongside....ok

All went well for me until they decided to take their smallish dog ashore and take the thing for a swim.....and then to walk the wet dog back across the bow end of my clean boat - result lots of muddy paw prints all over my white decks.

I am by now thinking that they will offer to wipe up but no such offer was forthcoming.......and then just as I thought things could not have got more irritating another of their crew came across dripping two rapidly melting ice cream cones all over the stantions and decks - my clean boat was by now a real mess and no attempt or offer to clean up .........

Oh and when they decided to depart they did so at such speed they left another souvenir for us ........a black stripe from their thick rubber rubbing stake!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

By the way, did they buy an ice cream for your kids? If not name and shame 'em, Im sure we could get Col or Burgundyben to duff 'em up a bit when they see them

look on the plus side.... you could have invited me.... beer fridge empty.... all traces of meat products eaten..... wet pants hung from pushpit rails.... we won't go into the toilet!!!

glad you had a good day, the first time i rafted i was so nervous i stayed there untill everyone else left! bloody grockles!

When we ahve rafted up with mutly we either put her in tender to go ashore or tie her up on boat woudl not let her go across another boat.... but name and shame and I will get her to do her business on their bows.... or put in in thier Ice cream

Count yourself lucky that it was'nt some spotty teenager with those clumpy bovver boots or some floozy in stilleto heels or the dog didnt lift its leg against a stanchion or the boat next door was full of rowdy yotties partying 'til 2 in the morning
