Just when I think I understand the 40 50 stuff, they list a (S)5 sunny day as a 40 - Well, I'll go the the foot of my keel.

The BBCi weather site lists weather conditions - 40 - 50 -60 for sailing experience 40 being experienced sailors 60 and above novices -
