Sorry am not very well up on i pads,can anybody tell me how to down load pictures from my i pad so l can put them on a cd in Tesco.

Get an app called Dropbox, which will allow you to upload the photos to the web. Then download to a PC and burn cd/memory stick as usual. You can also do it via iTunes software on PC but I've never really figured it out. Someone will be along to tell you how soon....

I have a MacBook and an iPad. When I connect the two the photos open in iPhoto and can be saved there then saved to an SD card.

Not sure if a Windows machine works the same way but see here:

You have a problem - you want to transfer stuff from an iPad to a Windows PC.
You install iTunes on your PC.
You now have two problems ;-)

I have moved photo's from the iPad to PC by just plugging the iPad to the PC USB socket and it appears like an external hard drive, to then have to search around to find the photo's and copy them across to the PC. You can't seem to do it the other way around. The crazy thing is to get your nice photo's to Tesco to print them you appear to have to have a PC, says a lot for iPads!
