I notice that Plod has a new Toy

We were out yesterday and saw that Plod seems to have bought themselves a rather nice new rib. When did this happen I wonder

They've have since at least January, they took my kids for spin on it

they radioed VTS for permission to exceed it

The pilot boats don’t generally enter the Orwell, the 6 knt speed limit commences at the Fagbury buoy. They do certainly exceed the 8 knt limit in Harwich Harbour and it’s approach but I would imagine they have Authority to do so.
