Re: women? HA!

Proposed to my fiance on a deserted island in the Maldives on Christmas Eve (easy to remember) and ever since she has been looking into the wedding thing. My only requests are to marry somewhere hot, on a boat, (not a ship) and no shoes or ties allowed. The date has been set for Christmas Eve 2003 on a boat in the British Virgin Islands but whats worrying me is the cost..........
she says 'the boat is only £15000 per week'
BARGAIN!!!! Doesn't even include flights!!!

Re: women? HA!

if it was deserted island what was your fiancee doing there?

proposed to mine allegedly 13 years ago. to this day insist i said 'will you carry me?'
however resultant confusion has mean't we have been together since. despite little hiccup last christmas that we donot talk about.
anyway had severe case of the cold feet last night. it DOES seem very scary, and quiite frankly we could buy this nicholson i saw for the same money.

anyway apparently this was not the thing to say. mrs sailbad to be ( who it must be pointed out is a wonderful girl, colin may testtify to this) was not overjoyed at this news. iand got a bit upset that i should feel this way.

i have asked for my money back from the tact and diplomacy school i have been attending.

Come on brain.get this over and i can go back to killing you with beer

Re: WOW !!!

THE BVIs was one destination for the honey moon ( only problem being we would need to wait until winter to do it.)
it does sound fab tho.

problem with me is after 13 years alot of people want to see us get married ( our max is 150 people but that will still require some tough decisions) 10 would not cover immediate family
mrs sailbad to be is resigned to the fact that she will not be on her own on honeymoon as some mates will come sailing with us. altho she is insisting on a few days on our own at some point.

Re: £15k ??

On the plus side for me....
The fiance has no family so no invites needed there and my family is only small.

Down side.....
The brides parents normally pay!!!!!! DAMN!!!

Re: women? HA!

You actually said it might be a good idea to buy the boat rather than get married! Are you completely bloody mad, men have been murdered for less, no court in the land would convict her either! Get yer' head screwed on man, yes you can hang your head and whilst it's in your hands squeeze it a bit and see if any brain cells are still alive in there! I really don't believe anybody discussing their forthcoming marriage with their partner, would say such a thing, suicidal! But I understand your thinking, but to say it, bloody hell!

It's a damn good job she's not only bonny, but understanding aswell, 13 years, just get on with it lad, I douby you'll find a better lassie! You can always save for the boat later! Now's maybe not the time for large purchases anyway, if you get my drift! Take care bruv!
